What is involved in commissioning?
Commissioning the NetLight Controller is a very important step in the delivery of Lumenergi products. Competent, efficient, and well trained commissioning partners are a must. This program is designed to educate, coach, and finally certify commissioning partners. Lumenergi Commissioning Partner Certification Program (LCPCP) documents contain proprietary, trade secret, and confidential information which are the property of Lumenergi, Inc. These documents and their contents may not be duplicated nor disclosed to any other party without the expressed authorization of Lumenergi, Inc.
What type of training is required?
The LCPCP will start with classroom training stressing overall concepts of lighting control, methods of achievement through system architecture and software operation. Laboratory hands-on training will be performed in a classroom environment. Emphasis is placed on both ensuring commissioning partner has gained specific skills and knowledge to perform installation and commissioning to meet or exceed LCPCP requirements, and is capable of fully executing Lumenergi installation and commissioning methodologies. A distinct advantage Lumenergi has for commissioning partners, is there is no steep learning curve involved with having to learn new hardware systems involving installing equipment racks, wiring patch panels, and setting up esoteric cable distribution systems — our simple to use software does the commissioning work for you. Successful completion of the LCPCP will be acknowledged with a certificate of completion. This certificate will authorize the individual to commission Lumenergi lighting systems.
What software tools are provided?
Commissioning partner is provided Lumenergi software with associated licenses and feature keys in order to perform hardware associated tasks during installation and to conduct software commissioning. The provided software is the intellectual property of Lumenergi, Inc., and must be safeguarded by the commissioning partner.
